MOUNTAIN BIKE TRIAL ZONE
This area allows Expo attendees to try out a mountain bike, with simulated obstacles to negotiate. Hosted by Wheels Up Mountain Bike Clinics and Camps.

ROCK CLIMBING WALL
Test your climbing ability on several different routes. The wall is 23 feet tall, with holds and features that mimic a real rock surface. Hosted by Upper Limits Indoor Rock Climbing Gym.

Big BAM (Bike Across Missouri) is your annual cross-state biking adventure with THREE events in 2026! On Sept 4-10, ride historic Route 66 paved backroads along meandering trout streams and beaver ponds and past relics of yesteryear. On June 7-13 and again on Oct 11-17, ride the iconic KatyTrail, the longest “rail-trail” in the country. Explore Missouri in a way like never before. Big Muddy Adventures (BMA)

Big Muddy Adventures (BMA) connects people with the region’s waterways, trails, and public lands through recreation and education. The Gateway Disabled Ski Program (GDSP) is an adaptive skiing program having several ski programs. Membership to this group is exclusively for active participants, parents/guardians, and volunteer members of our adaptive snow sports program located at Hidden Valley Resort in Wildwood, Missouri.

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) protects and manages the fish, forests, and wildlife of the Show-Me State. We also help people learn about and enjoy nature. Whether you love to hunt or fish, hike or camp, paddle or birdwatch, MDC has 1,000 conservation areas and river/stream accesses throughout Missouri to help you connect with the outdoors.

Missouri Disabled Water Ski Association

The Missouri Disabled Water Ski Association (MDWSA) is a nonprofit charitable organization that was incorporated in 2007 for improving the lives of children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, visual impairments, and special needs by involvement in adaptive water skiing. MDWSA was created for the betterment of adaptive water skiing and the disabled athlete in response to a need in the community for an organization that will focus its energy and resources to professionally develop, organize, promote, and provide a comprehensive program of adaptive water skiing for those with physical and developmental disabilities, visual impairments, and special needs.

Missouri Parks Associaton

The Missouri Parks Association (MPA) is a nonprofit citizens organization — independent and non-partisan — dedicated to the protection, enhancement, and interpretation of Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites. Ensuring Missourians understand the need for an adequate and consistent base of financial support for the park system is a key task. In 1984, MPA spearheaded the petition that led to the passage of the Parks, Soils, and Water Sales Tax and has worked to get it reapproved by voters in 1988, 1996, 2006, and in 2016.

 

Missouri River Bird Observatory

The mission of Missouri River Bird Observatory is to contribute to the conservation of birds and their habitats via science, education, and advocacy; to gather information about avian communities and habitat use that will assist state, federal, and private natural resource managers in their efforts to implement conservation programs; to provide opportunities for Missourians of all ages to learn about species and habitat conservation; and to advocate for sound, science-based conservation policy that benefits birds, other wildlife, and environmental quality.

 

Missouri River Relief

Missouri River Relief (MRR) is dedicated to connecting people to the Missouri River through stewardship, education, and recreation. Since 2001, 33,500 MRR volunteers have removed 1,000 tons of trash from the river and educated 40,000 students and teachers. MRR also is the host of the MR340 and Race to the Dome paddling races.

 

Missouri State Parks

The mission of the Missouri State Parks system is to preserve and interpret the state’s most outstanding natural landscapes and cultural landmarks, and to provide outstanding recreational opportunities compatible with those resources.

Missouri Stream Team

Missouri Stream Team is a grassroots, citizen-led, volunteer stream conservation movement. Through the joint efforts of the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the Conservation Federation of Missouri, the program focuses on education, stewardship, and advocacy for Missouri’s waterways. The Stream Team program provides an opportunity for all citizens to get involved in river conservation. “Stream Teamers” participate in litter cleanups, water quality monitoring, tree planting, educational events, removal of invasive species, and more. Stream Team activities take place statewide, in rural areas, urban areas, the countryside, and in the city.

Missouri Whitewater Association

The Missouri Whitewater Association, a public organization, encourages the growth of paddling as a beneficial recreational sport and a recognized competitive sport. The MWA teaches paddling skills, river safety techniques, and first aid; sponsors river trips; hosts an annual slalom and downriver whitewater race and whitewater clinic; and educates club members and the public about paddle sports and river conservation. The MWA promotes the conservation and preservation of all free-flowing rivers and wilderness areas. New in 2024, the MWA — in partnership with other outdoor organizations — is exploring options for a paddle park in the St. Louis area.

Ope Outdoors

Founded in 2020 to represent the spirit of Midwestern adventure, Ope Outdoors is a sustainable apparel brand dedicated to promoting the joy that is parks and the outdoors here in our region.  Oh, and we also like to go on hikes and pick up trash from time to time. We aspire to create a community of people who love the outdoors and the places they are from. Ozark Fly Fishers

We are a St. Louis-based fly-fishing and conservation organization affiliated with Fly Fishers International. The primary objectives of Ozark Fly Fishers are to improve fisheries and promote the sport of fly fishing. Ozark Fly Fishers was the 2005 winner of the McKenzie Cup, an award presented annually by the Federation of Fly Fishers to the outstanding club in the nation.

Ozark Riverways Foundation

The friends and members of the Ozark Riverways Foundation, in collaboration with the National Park Service, work to enhance public understanding and appreciation of the Current and Jacks Fork rivers. We achieve this through a diverse array of approaches, including educational programs, engaging river activities, and promoting hiking along the scenic trails surrounding these rivers.

Ozark Trail Association

The mission of the Ozark Trail Association (OTA) is to develop, maintain, preserve, promote, and protect the rugged, natural beauty of the Ozark Trail, a National Recreation Trail. The OTA plays the leading role in the construction and maintenance of Missouri’s 401-mile premier long-distance, multi-use backcountry trail.

Pedaler’s Jamboree

The Pedaler’s Jamboree is an annual event on the Katy Trail in mid-Missouri departing from Columbia, MO. The event includes a gear-transported bicycle tour of 38 miles on the rails to trails Katy Trail State Park. Along the ride bicyclists stop in small towns and listen to live music and eat and drink and celebrate! They finally reach the town of Boonville, MO where a large festival with a full sized festival stage is set up in Kemper Park with camping, beer gardens, and vendors. The 2026 Pedaler’s Jamboree in Missouri  will happen on May 23 and May 24. This will be the 17th Anniversary event of the event!

Robinson Bluff

Robinson Bluff is a rock climbing and mountain biking destination in Missouri, located approximately 60 miles from St. Louis near the old mining town of Tiff. With 226 sport routes and bouldering problems, development of the 3,615-foot bluff line is continually expanding. In addition to fantastic rock climbing, Robinson Bluff guests have access to trails, camping, and the Big River, perfect for cooling off after a day of climbing, mountain biking, or hiking. We’re open seven days a week to the public and offer 21 campsites for those who aren’t ready to leave!

Shawnee Bluffs Canopy Tour

Shawnee Bluffs Canopy Tour consists of eight ziplines, the longest stretching more than 1,100 feet, which zig-zag across the property’s bluffs and through the valley. The tour also includes 11 platforms high in the trees, three aerial suspension bridges (the longest stretching 180 feet), and three short ground hikes. A canopy tour is an exciting way to experience the flora, fauna, geology, and history of the outdoors by safely traversing an established route of ziplines and aerial bridges between platforms built in the trees, and they are just plain FUN!

South Side XC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing U23 and Junior mountain bike athletes. With the beautiful backdrop of the Shawnee National Forest, outdoor adventures abound in Southernmost Illinois. St. Charles County Parks Department’s mission is to preserve natural and historic features in areas throughout the county for the use of future generations. Today, the department has 22 parks, of which 19 are open and three in reserve, totaling 4,403 acres of acquired park land.
